Coach Jay
Swimming has been a lifelong passion of mine since the age of 5. Growing up in the South Hills of Pittsburgh I swam for South Fayette, USC, and JCC ('94-'06). I went on to compete all 4 years of undergrad at Washington & Jefferson College ('06-'10). I took two years off from swimming after college and started coaching the Barracudas in 2012. In 2013 I became the Head Coach and have loved every moment with the team.
My coaching philosophy is centered around four fundamental values: Kindness, Teamwork, Integrity, and Sportsmanship.
At CAC we're not just focused on our athletes' aquatic abilities. We're teaching these kids the power of setting and reaching goals to prepare them for life.
Coach Sara

I was a swimmer for 13 years. I started as a Crafton crocodile, then a Barracuda, then Carlynton cougar, and finished my career as a Westminster Titan where I was a 3 time All-PAC 2nd team selection and one time honorable mention selection, as well as a captain the 24-25 season along with team MVP. I went to Westminster College. I graduated in 2025 with my bachelor’s degree in biology. I will be attending the vet-tech institute of Pittsburgh in October 2025 to start my vet-tech journey. As for coaching I helped coach Westminster’s swim camps over the summers for two years and was an assistant coach for the Crafton crocodiles the summer of 2024. I’m super excited to continue in my coaching experience and help athletes find the love for swimming that I found.
