At CAC we offer swim lessons twice a year to both in-district and out-of-district residents. Lessons are led by coaches in the water with High School and College assistants. Lessons are 30-45 minutes depending on level and focused around water safety and comfortability. Participants must be fully potty trained. Swim diapers will not be permitted. All swim lessons are held at Carlynton High School.

Lessons are offered at the following levels:

Beginner: Swimmer needs instructor assistance when in the water
Intermediate: Swimmer needs partial assistance when in the water 
Advanced: Swimmer does not require assistance when in the water 

Spring 2026 Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced Swim Lessons *REGISTRATION CLOSED*

This is our 8 class swim lesson program for potty-trained swimmers of all ages and skill levels. Classes are focused on water safety and swimming fundamentals. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced lessons are led by in-the-water instructors. Classes are held on 8 consecutive business days. Our pool is organized to conduct 1 class of each skill level simultaneously. Each class has a dedicated Lead Instructor who is assisted by High School and College swimmers. Instructors will promote participants to more advanced classes as their skills improve.

Program dates: 3/23, 3/24, 3/25, 3/26, 3/27, 3/30, 3/31, 4/1

Classes:

• Beginner Session #1 (if required by enrollment): 6:10PM - 6:40PM
• Beginner Session #2: 6:45PM - 7:15PM
• Intermediate/Advanced Session: 7:15PM - 8PM

Cost: $125 first swimmer, $100 per sibling. $25 out-of-district fee per swimmer

Qualifications: fully potty trained

Beginner Fall 2025 Swim Lessons

This program is taught by experienced coaches and assistants who are in the water with the swimmers. Classes are focused on water safety and swimming fundamentals. Participants of all skill levels, ages 2+ who are fully potty-trained are welcome (NO swim diapers permitted)

Program: 10/1/25, 10/2/25, 10/3/25, 10/6/25, 10/7/25 (#5 days total)
Classes: 5:45PM-6:15PM
Cost: $75 per swimmer
Qualifications: Fall 2025 beginner swim lessons will be offered for CARLYNTON IN-DISTRICT FAMILIES ONLY (spring 2026 beginner lessons will be available to out-of-district families). Participants must be at least 2 years of age and be fully potty trained. 

Intermediate & Advanced Fall 2025 Swim Lessons

This is our partially assisted swim lesson program for youth ages 4+ to learn swimming fundamentals and an introduction to competitive swimming. Instructors will be in the water with the goal that swimmers will not require assistance by the end of the program. Some swimming experience is recommended. 

Program: 10/9/25-11/4/25
Classes: Tues/Thurs: 5:45 - 6:30pm
Cost: $125 first swimmer, $100 per sibling. $25 out-of-district fee per swimmer
Qualifications: Participants must be at least 4 years of age and be fully potty trained. Participants must follow instruction and some swimming experience is recommended as participants should not require full assistance in the water. Coaches reserve the right to remove participants from the program if Beginner lessons are more appropriate.
